2008-09-17 - printers and parts DIRECT: new IER certified service partner for South Africa...

IER expands its repair and service network by appointing printers and parts DIRECT as its new certified repair partner for South Africa and the surrounding countries.

 

As part of our strategy to improve our global customer services and to provide a local presence in the region, IER has selected printers and parts DIRECT as its certified warranty and out of warranty repair partner for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Angola, Malawi, Lesotho and Swaziland.

Printers and Parts DIRECT maintains IER products, using exclusively IER original parts, and also multi-vendor equipment following customer specific Service Level Agreements (SLA).

 “The careful selection of printers and parts DIRECT was very strategic”, says Jean-Christophe Court, Operations Manager at IER, “as not only are printers and parts DIRECT located 1km from OR Tambo international airport, but they are also a company focused on repair and re-manufacture of very specialized products. Printers and parts DIRECT engineers have had extensive training from IER and add this knowledge to their existing knowledge of the wide range of other printers that are repaired on behalf of the dealer channel.
