IER, the leading supplier of passenger and baggage processing solutions in the air transport, has just been awarded a 5-year renewal contract for the maintenance of the check-in and boarding equipment deployed at Kuwait International Airport.
IER has recently signed, in collaboration with CDN (Computer Data Networks), maintenance provider for SITA at Kuwait International Airport, a 5-year maintenance contract for the totality of the boarding pass and bag tag airport printers, the boarding gate readers and keyboards recently deployed at the Kuwait International Airport.
This workshop repair maintenance contract comes after a large order placed in December 2005 for over 400 equipment, including IER 567 boarding pass printers, IER 506 bag tag printers, IER 627 Bar Code boarding gate readers as well as keyboards.
The IER Dubai Service Centre and CDN have been working together since 2001 for the maintenance and support of IER equipment in Kuwait Airport. This renewal agreement confirms the good partnership between SITA and IER in the Middle East region and SITA’s confidence in our products and services.
IER, with this contract, confirms its ability to propose both airports and airlines a global offer including solutions, applications, equipment, maintenance and services. As a key player on the transportation industry market, IER proposes a comprehensive range of solutions complying with IATA’s “Simplifying the Business” program.
