IER, which actively supports IATA’s “Simplifying the Business” program, introduces a comprehensive range of 2D barcode printers to support the air transportation industry’s evolution to 2D BCBPs.
Our new printers designed for check-in operations, the IER 400 and IER 560, cover the large scope of airline and airport needs from single feed up to four feeds. Both are multi-function and can print bag tags and boarding passes in various configurations. Using a single, multi-function machine reduces the types of printers installed, therefore simplifying the installation, service and user training required and their associated costs.
Both are also future proof, equipped with RS, USB and IP as standard, and can be remotely configurated and monitored via a web browser.
Like all IER solutions, this smooth migration applies unique cutting-edge technologies such as RFID. Both printers offer an optional RFID encoding module, internal to the machine, for contactless RF bag tags or ISO tickets.

The IER 400 is a single feed, multi-function baggage tag, boarding pass and flight strip direct thermal printer. The IER 400 prints high quality 1D and 2D barcodes (including IATA compliant PDF 417, plus Datamatrix, Aztec and QR codes) on both boarding pass and bag tag stocks.

The IER 560 is a 4 input, direct thermal, flexible printer that can print both multiple boarding passes and bag tags. The IER 560 prints high quality 1D and 2D barcodes and uses proven, industrialized components for a highly robust and reliable design. The IER 560 is designed for high volume ticket printing applications.
