Barcode Technology
At the end of 2010, all airlines and airports were supposed to be 100% BCBP compatible. Under the leadership of IATA, this goal has almost been reached. To support the air transportation industry's evolution to 2D bar codes IER has adapted its full range of solutions and equipment to this need and goes beyond by incorporating new technologies for encoding and reading information, such as RFID and NFC (Near Field communication), which further facilitate the digitization of data.
