This self-checkout solution is based on the principle of identification of articles available for sale by RFID labels. The customer, having selected and grouped its articles in a basket or bag, goes to a self-checkout kiosk. When the basket or bag is placed in the receptacle provided, all the articles are immediately identified by simultaneous reading of the RFID labels of each article. The payment made to a kiosk automatically triggers the deactivation of RFID tags. The customer can then leave the store with his purchases.
