Long experience in designing specific solutions for passenger processing

IER has worked with the major European railways for more than 30 years, initially providing counter ticketing solutions and, more recently, ticket vending machines.
In the past two years, over 1,500 TVM have been deployed throughout the SNCF main lines network in France. These new TVM machines enable travellers to rapidly and simply purchase, pick up and exchange tickets throughout the entire French railways main line network.
New functionalities make it possible to issue a pre-punched ticket for departures within the hour, select different rates for customers travelling together and choose a journey that includes up to two connections. Lastly, picking up an electronic payment ticket is as simple as inserting the payment card that was used for the reservation.
